Williamson County reported no new coronavirus deaths and an increase of 47 known coronavirus cases on Monday. The total number of confirmed cases in the county is now 11,016.

The total number of cases include 158 deaths and an estimated 10,518 recoveries as of Monday. Forty-three people were in the hospital for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, on Monday.

Round Rock has the most number of confirmed cases in the county with 3,052 on Monday. The number of estimated recoveries was not available on Monday. Georgetown had the second-highest number of confirmed cases with 1,860.

The county reported 148,436 tests done as of Monday, with a rolling seven-day average positivity rate of 4.69%. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has classified coronavirus hotspots as areas with a positivity rate of 5% or higher.

The Williamson County and Cities Health District said in a report that it has moved the county back to its orange phase, which means there is a risk of high community transmission of the virus.

Tests are also being offered for free to all Texas residents at a drive-thru site at the Williamson County Exposition Center, at 5350 Bill Pickett Trail in Taylor, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17-20.

Williamson County residents can get tests at the health district’s testing site in Round Rock. If interested in testing, residents need to fill out a form at wcchd.org/COVID-19/testing.php.

Family Emergency Room is also offering coronavirus testing at its locations in Williamson County. To apply for testing visit familyhospitalsystems.com/covid-19/.
