Wednesday forecast for Austin: It’s the day before Thanksgiving, y’all, and it’s going to be a nice one!
Skies will be sunny throughout the day and temperatures will peak at a high near 72 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
North winds blowing 5 to 10 mph during the day will have gusts as high as 20 mph, forecasters said.
Nighttime skies will be mostly clear as temperatures drop to a low around 46 degrees.
Thanksgiving this year will have sunshine and temperatures in the 70s with a small rain chance at night, according to the weather service’s extended forecast:
Thanksgiving Day: Mostly sunny with a high near 77. Mostly cloudy at night with a 30% chance of rain and a low around 61.
Friday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of rain and a high near 68. Cloudy at night with a 70% chance of rain and a low around 52.
Saturday: Cloudy with a 60% chance of rain and a high near 59. Mostly cloudy at night with a 50% chance of rain and a low around 44.
Sunday: Sunny with a high near 62. North-northwest winds blowing 5 to 10 mph will have gusts as high as 20 mph. Mostly clear at night with a low around 40.
Monday: Sunny with a high near 58. Mostly clear at night with a low around 35.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 61.
