AUSTIN (KXAN) — The U.S. Marshals’ Lone Star Fugitive Task Force asked for the public’s help in finding a man who it accuses of sexually assaulting two children, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
The press release identified the suspect as Rutilo Alfonso Renteria, 59, a Mexican national residing in Georgetown, Texas.
The task force’s search arose from a Williamson County Sheriff’s Office investigation that led to two warrants for aggravated sexual assault. It claims that Renteria allegedly committed the offenses in July 2024.

Renteria is “a known commercial truck driver with ties to the Rio Grande Valley in Mercedes, Texas and Mexico,” the release said. According to the U.S. Marshals, he is registered to drive a gray 2015 Nissan Van (Texas license plate FHB-2648), a silver Dodge Charger (Texas license plate RMN-6003) and a red 2004 Nissan truck (Texas license plate BP6-5413).
The task force asked for those with information about Renteria to either call 1-800-336-0102 or submit a tip online, or contact Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 1-512-472-8477 or the Williamson County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-253-7867.
