Five people, including three teenagers and a younger child, were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a crash in North Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS medics reported.
EMS responded around 10:04 a.m. to a vehicle crash at the intersection of West Rundberg Lane and Quail Field Drive, which is near the North Austin YMCA. Medics initially said four people were involved as well as one who was pinned inside the wreck and unconscious.
The pinned-in person was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical injuries, medics said. A teenager with injuries not considered life-threatening also was taken to Dell Seton.
Two other teenagers and a younger child were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center but their injuries were not expected to be life-threatening, EMS medics said.
