Saturday forecast for Austin: Saturday morning’s wet, foggy conditions won’t last long for those hopping to get a taste of sunshine this weekend.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 61 degrees after the morning’s dense fog lifts before 10 a.m.

The evening will be mostly clear at night with a low around 37, meteorologists said.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 62 degrees. The evening will be clear with an overnight low around 35. North-northeast winds around 5 mph becoming calm.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 68 degrees. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear with an overnight low around 38. South-southeast winds around 5 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 69 degrees. Conditions will be mostly clear at night with an overnight low around 45 degrees.

Christmas Day: Mostly sunny with a high near 72. South-southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph. Overnight, partly cloudy with lows around 50 degrees.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a 30% chance of rain and a high near 72 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy with a continued 30% chance of rain and overnight lows around 51.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and a high near 70 degrees.
