The 20-year-old woman who died following a car crash in downtown Austin Wednesday has been identified.
Austin police on Tuesday said D’Avion Lee Suon died around 8:23 p.m. near 1400 West Cesar Chavez Street, west of Lamar Boulevard, after her car veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup.
Suon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. She was wearing her seat belt, police said. They said the driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
