One person was killed early Friday in a Southeast Austin crash, Austin police said.
Officers responded to the 6700 block of Bluff Springs Road, south of William Cannon Drive, around 3:39 a.m.
Multiple cars hit a pedestrian who was in the road at 1:30 a.m., police said, according to CBS Austin.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died, CBS Austin reported.
Only one driver stayed at the scene of the crash, police said.
Bluff Springs Road was shut down for a few hours but is now open, police said.
