One person is dead after a crash in Killeen on Saturday night, according to the Killeen Police Department.
Patrick Stephens, 21, was found dead on the scene at 11:58 p.m. after his Hyundai Elantra was struck by a Nissan Armada that ran a red light, police said.
Stephens was turning left on Texas 195 off of Chaparral Road at a green light when the Nissan SUV traveling north on the highway ran the red light and struck the left side of the Hyunda, officials said.
Stephens’ passenger was taken to the Carl R. Darnall Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver and two passengers of the Nissan reported minor injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
