Deputies are looking for a 4-year-old whose mother abducted him Thursday afternoon from Southwest Austin, Travis County sheriff’s officials said.
Celina Jeanne Harp abducted her son, Marsdan Ellis Harp, from 9611 Dawning Court at 2 p.m., sheriff’s official said. Harp was last seen traveling south on MoPac Bouelvard at FM 2244 in a dark green Ford Fusion, with the Texas license plate LGV-3638.
Investigators believe the boy and his mother are still in the area, officials said.
The Travis County sheriff’s office issued a regional AMBER alert for the boy. Officials said regional alerts will not activate on cellphones or road signs.
The boy was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts. He’s 3 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 42 pounds, sheriff’s officials said. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
