Monday forecast for Austin: Happy Monday! The weather this week will have you wondering if it’s actually fall here in Central Texas.

Skies will be partly sunny during the day Monday and temperatures are expected to peak at a high near 83 degrees, the National Weather Service said.

Normally on Sept. 19 in Austin, the high temperature is 81 degrees and the low is 60 degrees, according to the weather service.

Skies will become increasingly cloudy at night as temperatures dip to a low around 69 degrees, forecasters said.

Temperatures will be in the upper 80s through the rest of the week, according to the weather service’s extended forecast:

Tuesday: Cloudy, then clearing in the afternoon, with a high near 86. Increasingly cloudy at night with a low around 69.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a high near 86. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 67.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 86. Mostly clear at night with a low around 67.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 85. Mostly clear at night with a low around 59.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 77. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 59.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 80.
