Fire departments from five cities are trying to put out a blaze at the Durcon manufacturing plant in Taylor, officials said Saturday night,
The fire is still active, officials said late Saturday, but no injuries have been reported.
The blaze was reported at 7:53 p.m. Officials said the first responding units saw a fire on the roof. The exterior fire was extinguished but firefighters are still battling the blaze inside the building, officials said.
The 2400 block of East Fourth Street is closed to traffic in both directions. Officials have asked that onlookers avoid the area.
The fire departments working the blaze are from Taylor, Round Rock, Georgetown, Hutto and Pflugerville.
According to its website, Durcon manufactures work surfaces.
