A new case of COVID-19, the disease linked to the coronavirus, was confirmed in Comal County on Monday, health officials said.
The latest patient brings the county’s total of known cases to 72.
The patient is a person in their 60s from central Comal County. They are hospitalized in New Braunfels, officials said.
So far, 56 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the county and six have died. Ten cases are active, with two people hospitalized.
The county has conducted 1,339 tests with results still pending from 72 of them.
