Austin City Hall was vandalized overnight with red paint and messages about socialism and imperialism.
The front doors of the building appear to have been doused with red paint. The stairs outside of the building were spray painted with messages.
One of the messages says: “U.S. imperialism is the virus” and “socialist revolution is the cure!”
A hammer and sickle also was spray-painted onto a side of the building.
The paint job is the latest act of vandalism at City Hall.
Last month, a man was arrested and accused of torching a statue of a grackle that stood outside the building, burning the art installation to the ground.
