AUSTIN

Arc of the Capital Area

hosts trivia fundraiser

The Arc of the Capital Area is inviting all to participate in a live interactive trivia night at 8 p.m. Thursday. Participants will make an impact in the lives of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities impacted by COVID-19.

Since the Arc closed its campus March 13 and moved arts and education programming to a virtual platform, it has lost all funding. All of the proceeds from the trivia night event will go toward providing virtual education to individuals with I/DD and preventing social isolation.

Host Matt Swinney, founder of Fashion X, will be joined by celebrity guests throughout the 90-minute competition. Registrants may compete online individually for $50, or on a team with family and friends for $200 for up to four entrants. The winners will have the opportunity to connect virtually with their favorite celebrity for a personalized “2020 Selfie.”

To register: arcaustin.org/trivia.
