Someone was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon in Spicewood, according to the Burnet County sheriff’s office.
Deputies have shut down one eastbound lane of Texas 71, near Granite Ridge Drive, at the site of the crime scene in Spicewood, the sheriff’s office said. The second eastbound lane is open.
Further details were not immediately available.
“The incident is not active and the scene is secure,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “More details will be released at a later time.”
