UPDATE: Bastrop County firefighters battling roughly 30-acre brush fire – News – Austin American-Statesman

Firefighters are battling a brush fire that has burned roughly 30 acres at Texas 21 and FM 1441, northeast of the city of Bastrop, officials with Bastrop County Emergency Services District 2 said.

Firefighters are protecting all nearby structures, but the fire has not been contained, fire officials said. Multiple fire departments have responded to the scene in the Circle D-KC Estates neighborhood.

Authorities have not called for any evacuations, Bastrop County Sheriff Maurice Cook said.
