Someone broke into the yard of a Thien Hau Temple in North Austin and destroyed statues and furniture, according to Austin officials and a police report.

The damage includes a small headless statue, which can be seen outside of the Buddhist temple on North Lamar Boulevard, just south of Parmer Lane.

The incident was reported Tuesday, and the person who reported it believes it occurred Monday, Austin police said.

Investigators have not identified any suspects, police said. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.
