Capital Metro officials on Tuesday said another one of their bus drivers tested positive for COVID-19, the disease linked to the coronavirus.
The bus driver last worked on April 19, according to a statement from the transit agency on Tuesday. The newest case brings the total of infected employees to 11, including nine drivers, one mechanic and one administrative employee.
“We have several measures in place that ensure social distancing on our vehicles, including a yellow chain that serves as a physical barrier between operators and customers, free fares and rear-door only boarding,” the statement said.
