Three Austin school district meal delivery routes have been canceled until next Monday while an employee is tested for COVID-19, the illness associated with the coronavirus, district officials said Tuesday.

Citing safety concerns, the district said routes delivered by Buses 2161, 2162 and 2165 have been canceled until Monday.

An employee who had access to the kitchen that serviced the affected bus routes started feeling unwell, but district staff said the employee did not have symptoms related to the coronavirus.

However, the employee was tested for COVID-19 on Monday and staff who were in direct contact with the person were asked to quarantine until results are released.

The affected bus stops are:

Under Bus 2161:

Paredes Middle School

Island Oak Drive and Auction Oak Drive

Desert Willow Loop and Desert Primrose Drive

Wayne Riddell Loop and Carismatic Lane

South First Street and Southpark Meadows Drive

Under Bus 2162:

O’Callahan Drive and Eruzione Drive

Alyssas Drive and Olivers Way

Elm Valley Drive and Sparkle Drive

Arroyo Doble Drive and Bear Canyon Drive

Torreon Drive and Altamira Street

Under Bus 2165:

Ravenscroft Drive and Pickard Lane

Easy Street and Chappell Lane

10601 Menchaca Road

Rockland Drive and Maydelle Drive

Garbacz Drive and Geoffs Drive

Kocurek Elementary
