Happy Saturday, Central Texas! Today will be much cooler than Friday’s record-breaking temperatures, but you can still enjoy sunny skies while practicing social distancing.
At the highest, today’s temperatures will be about 16 degrees cooler than Friday’s, with a high near 79, according to the National Weather Service.
North-northeast wind will be blowing around 10 mph during the day, the weather service said. Northeast wind will blow 5 to 10 mph becoming light north in the evening.
Tonight will be mostly clear with temperatures dropping to a low around 57, forecasters said.

Monday: Partly sunny with a high near 87. Mostly cloudy at night with a low around 69.
Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 90. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 69 and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 89 and a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 63.
Thursday: Sunny with a high near 89. Partly cloudy at night with a low around 66.
Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 92.
