8th Cap Metro worker positive for coronavirus, officials say – News – Austin American-Statesman

Capital Metro officials on Wednesday said another bus driver tested positive for COVID-19, the disease linked to the coronavirus.

The bus driver last worked on March 30, according to Mariette Hummel, spokesperson for Cap Metro. The newest case brings the total of infected employees to eight.

Hummel on Wednesday said no additional information about the employee would be released.
