Hays County officials on Wednesday reported six new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19, the illness linked to the coronavirus.
Health officials Wednesday afternoon said the new cases bring the total number of known people with the disease in Hays County to 109.
Of those people, 43 have recovered from the illness, Hays County officials said. Two people are currently hospitalized.
Only nine cases are believed to be travel-related.
One of the newest patients Wednesday is younger than 10, according to data from Hays County.
