To operate in Buda, mobile food vendors pay a fee between $45-$55 each quarter. Fees for April, May and June will not be collected.
CORONAVIRUS IN TEXAS: What we know, latest updates
Beginning Wednesday, Buda residents making a credit card payment to the city either in-person or over-the-phone will no longer be charged the $2.75 credit card transaction fee for the next two months. Online payments to the city, however, will still incur a transaction fee charged by Buda’s financial software provider Tyler Technologies, Inc. The city doesn’t charge an additional fee for online payments.
City Council members also approved waiving $8,000 in license use fees for the Inspired Minds Art Center in downtown Buda. The center opened in January in the former Buda City Hall through a public-private partnership formed to assist Buda’s arts program. The center’s classes have been closed since mid-March.
