Hays County on Tuesday reported two new cases of people who have the coronavirus, bringing the number of known positive cases to 61.
Of those people, 18 have recovered from the illness, Hays County officials said. Two people are currently hospitalized.
Nearly all 61 people are adults, according to county data. The majority of cases have been detected in people between the ages of 30 and 59, though some cases have been confirmed for people younger and older than that. One person is between the ages of 10 and 19.
Only eight cases are believed to be travel-related.
