A woman in her 20s has become the ninth person in Williamson County to be diagnosed with COVID-19, the illness associated with the new coronavirus, local health officials said Saturday.
The Williamson County and Cities Health District said it is still unclear how the woman was exposed to the virus.
Williamson County had eight confirmed coronavirus cases as Friday. The county now as nine confirmed cases as of Saturday afternoon.
Health officials said information on the new patient is very limited, but that authorities will provide updated information as it becomes available.
