GEORGETOWN

City updates trash,

recycling services

The city of Georgetown is recommending residents bag all landfill trash and keep recyclable items loose to limit employees’ contact with these materials.

Texas Disposal Systems is continuing to operate normally in Georgetown. The transfer station on Walden Drive remains open to the public. TDS staff are collecting landfill trash, recycling and yard/green items on normal schedules.

If there are any necessary updates or changes to residential services, the city will work with TDS to notify customers.
