A family escaped uninjured after their house exploded in Northwest Austin Saturday morning, according to the Austin Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to the explosion at 11506 Autumn Ridge Drive at 5:23 a.m.
Investigators determined the cause of the explosion was a natural gas leak in the home.
None of the residents were injured. However, the family’s cat died in the fire, fire officials said.
