Friday forecast for Austin: Central Texas will continue its streak of sunny days and mild conditions, but temperatures will stay just a tad cooler than normal.

Austin should get plenty of sunshine but temperatures will stay below 82 degrees, the National Weather Service says. Even for Oct. 2, that forecast high is about 4 degrees below normal.

At night, expect clear skies with temperatures sinking to as low as 59 degrees, forecasters say.

The weather service’s extended forecast calls for more of the same: sunshine and comfortable temperatures from the 60s to the 80s:

Saturday: Sunny with a high near 85. Then clear at night with a low around 62.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 86. At night, clear with a low around 61.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 86. Stars are bright on a clear night with a low around 62.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 87. Mostly clear at night with a low around 61.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 88. Then mostly clear at night with a low around 62.
