McCallum freshman an Eagle Scout
Jonathan Randle, 14, son of Aimee and Greg Randle of Austin, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the Boy Scouts. Jonathan made a mulch and rock-lined trailhead and the first quarter-mile of what will become a 5-mile hiking trail at Camp Mabry. He also installed bat and bird houses, and repaired the bench of a nearby picnic table. Jonathan is a freshman at McCallum High School and a member of Troop 410, which is chartered by Highland Park Baptist Church.
