A person was seriously injured Wednesday night after a rollover crash in East Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS officials said.
Medics responded at 9:12 p.m. to a vehicle rescue call near the intersection of East Riverside and Montopolis drives, EMS said. They found an adult patient unconscious inside the vehicle, they said.
The victim was removed from the vehicle and after performing life-saving measures, medics were able to recover a pulse, officials said. The person was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries, EMS said.
Drivers should expect closures and traffic delays in the area.
