Texas earns No. 3 overall seed in NCAA volleyball tournament

The Longhorns earned the No. 3 overall seed in the tournament, and with the top seed in their quadrant, will host the first and second rounds Friday and Saturday. Texas opens with Florida A&M at 7 p.m. Friday, and the matchup opposite the home team is an interesting one. Penn State, the 2024 national champions and 8-seed in Texas’ quadrant, takes on South Florida at 4:30 p.m. Friday. The winners of those matches will play at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for a berth in the Sweet 16.
