AUSTIN (KXAN) — No. 2 Texas heads to Columbus, Ohio, for the Ohio State Tournament over the weekend, but they’ll face a different opponent than originally planned.
Saint Francis had to cancel its games at the tournament Friday and Saturday, causing tournament organizers to shuffle opponents and game times. The Longhorns were supposed to play the Red Flash at 9 a.m. CT Saturday, but now they’ll take on Merrimack at 9:30 a.m. instead. Texas will play Oakland at 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Texas was supposed to play Merrimack on Sunday, but now they’ll take on Kent State at 4:30 p.m. The games scheduled for Monday, 11:30 a.m. against Dayton and 3 p.m. versus Ohio State, will be played as planned.
