AUSTIN (KXAN) – Fans of the Disney classic Tim Burton’s ‘Nightmare Before Christmas’ will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the scenes and characters at a new exhibit at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
Hosted by Texas Performing Arts, this first-of-its-kind light trail is open most nights now through Thanksgiving week. Austin is one of only two cities selected to feature the trail, the other being New York City.
The trail has several photo opportunities, familiar characters from Halloweentown, music from the classic movie and more.
Tickets are required and are purchased by time slot. There is a “flex” option available for those not wanting to commit to a certain time.
The experience is family-friendly, and attendees are welcome to walk the trail as many times as they’d like.
Themed snacks and adult beverages are available to purchase at the beginning and end of the trail.
