LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — A fatal crash in Leander closed a roadway overnight, according to police.
The Leander Police Department said Municipal Drive from Northern Trail to Southwest Drive has since reopened.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight, according to LPD.
A spokesperson for the city said the crash involved a single motorcycle driven by a man.
“The motorcycle went off the road into the woods and the rider was ejected,” the city said.
According to city officials, the man was dead when officers arrived. The rider’s age or where he was from is currently unknown.
