AUSTIN (KXAN) — A lightning strike caused a fire at a north Austin home Saturday during morning thunderstorms.
The Austin Fire Department responded to the fire around 7:40 a.m. and extinguished the fire. The single-family home was in the 13300 block of Lamplight Village Avenue.
There were no injuries reported.
AFD said this was the only lightning-caused fire reported Saturday morning.
