AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police in Manor said the death of a 75-year-old man was being investigated as suspicious.
On Thursday, the Manor Police Department said officers responded to the 500 block of Llano Street at approximately 10:25 a.m. for a check welfare call.
The caller asked officers to check on a family member who had not been seen since Tuesday.
“Conditions at the scene raised concerns,” MPD said.
Officers then entered the residence and found a dead man, identified as 75-year-old Donald McVade.
“This is being investigated as a suspicious death and is an active and ongoing investigation,” MPD said.
