AUSTIN (KXAN)– Hello Kitty continues the celebration leading up to her 50 birthday with a sweet pop-up café at the Domain this Saturday.
This weekend, Saturday Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. the pink truck on wheels will make a stop at the Domain.
The Hello Kitty Café truck has been on a tour across the US all year. At each pop-up, the truck offers a variety of exclusive bakery treats and new limited-edition Hello Kitty merchandise.
“Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is our way of bringing the Hello Kitty experience to fans all across the U.S. We love seeing all the longtime Hello Kitty fans spanning multi-generations come out to each city stop,” said Urania Chien, co-founder and owner of Hello Kitty Cafe Truck and Hello Kitty Grand Cafe in California.
Following the Pink Trucks stop in Austin, the Hello Kitty Café will continue its tour and make it’s next stop in San Antonio on Oct. 26.
The Hello Kitty Café Truck made it’s first debut on Oct. 2014. Since that first stop the café has been putting smiles on faces of Hello Kitty fans in over 100 cities across the US.
“It’s been an amazing ride and we hope to continue bringing more Hello Kitty happiness across the country especially this year since it’s Hello Kitty’s big 50th anniversary!” Chien said.
