AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued another ground delay on Friday for arrivals into the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).
“At this time, the Ground Delay is only for arriving flights, but departing flights could experience delays,” AUS said.
The airport recommended travelers connect directly with their airlines for flight status information. Further flight status details can also be found on the FAA’s website.
The ground delay comes during staffing shortages at airports across the nation during the ongoing government shutdown.
According to the FAA, staffing was cited as the cause for the ground delay at AUS.
