AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Eanes ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the budget for the 2024-25 school year at its June 18 regular meeting. It provides a 2% pay increase for teachers and staff and adjust to declining enrollment of 187 students.
The approved budget includes $189.4M in revenue, countered by $190.6M in expenditures, with $94.7M “recaptured” by the State of Texas resulting in a budgeted deficit of 1.2M.
Another key point of the budget included a $2 million grant from the Eanes Education Foundation, which helps to supplement staffing and compensation costs for educators.
