AUSTIN (KXAN) — Beginning Saturday, the 2025 Texas Monthly BBQ Fest returns to Lockhart. Organizers said this year’s event benefits Feeding Texas, which is a network of food banks in Texas.
The BBQ World’s Fair is Saturday and runs from noon until 7 p.m. The event is free, and attendees can expect a curated vendor marketplace, cooking demos and live music.
“Featured joints will showcase creative flavors that represent the creativity and diversity that exists in Texas barbecue,” organizers said. “Come eat and explore everything the Texas ’cue-mmunity has to offer!”
The Top 50 Picnic returns to Lockhart City Park on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. to debut restaurants from the 2025 list of top fifty barbecue joints in Texas.
General admission tickets to Sunday’s event are available for purchase for $135 and include food at all 35 of the featured joints.
