Barton Springs bathhouse to partially open next week

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Beginning Tuesday, the Joan Means Khabele Bathhouse at Barton Springs Pool will partially open.

According to the city of Austin, the partial opening includes the restroom and shower spaces within the building, so the temporary facilities will be closed. The front parking lot is also expected to reopen.

Austin Parks and Recreation said entry to Barton Springs would move to the east side and the restrooms and showers would be accessible through the pool side of the building.
