AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police released a picture Monday of a vehicle it claims hit a man who was riding a scooter near East 11th Street and San Jacinto Boulevard on the night of Oct. 18.
Khaled Saadeddine, 33, was killed in the collision.
The department’s press release described the vehicle as a blue, four-door Dodge Ram pickup truck. The released picture did not capture a clear view of the vehicle’s license plate.

APD asked for anyone with information about the crash or vehicle to contact its Vehicular Homicide Unit at 512-974-8111, or anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program or at 512-472-8477. It said a reward of up to $1,000 “may be available” for information that helps it make an arrest in the case.
