AUSTIN (KXAN) — The 2025 Austin Film Festival (AFF) takes place Oct. 23-30, and will feature 183 movies over the course of the week, including “Christy,” starring Sydney Sweeney, on opening night.
Other Texas premiers include:
- “A Private Life” – Starring Jodie Foster, Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira
- “Dead Man’s Wire” – Starring Bill Skarsgård, Dacre Montgomery, Colman Domingo, Cary Elwes, Myha’la, Al Pacino
- “Is This Thing On?” – Starring Will Arnett, Laura Dern, Andra Day, Bradley Cooper
- “La Grazia” – Starring Toni Servillo, Anna Ferzetti, Orlando Cinque
- “Rental Family” – Starring Brendan Fraser, Takehiro Hira, Mari Yamamoto, Shannon Gorman, Akira Emoto
World premieres making their way to Austin include “A Man Walks Down the Street,” “A Mother’s Love,” “Charley Crockett: $10 Cowboy,” “Forelock,” “Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul,” “Nobody Wants To Be Here, Nobody Wants To Leave,” and “Theatre People.”
