AUSTIN (KXAN)– The Austin Police Department is looking for help from the community to identify the suspect involved in a robbery at the Toy Joy store in early March.
APD said in a release that its robbery unit is seeking public help to identify the suspect who stole multiple boxes of Lego sets from the Toy Joy store at 5501 Burnet Road.


The store surveillance footage shows the suspect appears to be a 30 to 40-year-old Middle Eastern male, medium build, about 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall with black hair and a full beard, according to police.
“He was last seen wearing a black mid length leather jacket, black jeans/pants, and black shoes,” the release said.
Anyone able to identify the suspect, provide additional information or provide additional doorbell or surveillance footage should contact APD’s Robbery Unit at 512-974-5092.
You can also submit anonymous tips via the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by calling 512-472-8477 or visiting its website. A reward of up to $1,000 will also be available to anyone that can provide information that would lead to an arrest, the release said.
