TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — (KXAN) — Lake Travis Fire Rescue is battling a large structure fire in the Hudson Bend area west of Austin.
Lake Travis Fire Rescue received a call of a large unoccupied under construction building on fire at 12:02 p.m. located at the Vintage Villas on Eck Lane. It has been classified as a third alarm fire.
Firefighters have the blaze under control and no civilians or firefighters have been injured.
Lake Travis Fire Rescue said they will remain on the scene likely into Monday morning to investigate the cause of the fire.
According to fire chief Robert Abbott, the likely cause of the fire was a controlled burn.
