AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department asked for the public’s help to find a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that happened at a north Austin H-E-B in October.
Shortly before 4 p.m., Oct. 23, the robbery happened after the alleged suspect “attempted to steal merchandise” from the grocery store, located at 12407 N. Mopac Service Road northbound, per a news release from APD.
“A victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect subsequently assaulted the victim,” police said.
APD provided a description of the suspect below:
- Black woman
- 30 years of age
- 5’2″ tall
- Bald
- Heavy build
According to police, the suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts and light green running shoes.
Additionally, police provided a suspect vehicle and believe it is a Toyota that is “black in color.”
