AUSTIN (KXAN) — The San Antonio Spurs are making it a little bit easier for fans in Austin to make it to some games at Frost Bank Center.
For five games this season, fans in Austin can hop on a charter bus for a round-trip fee of $25. The bus will pick up and drop off fans at the H-E-B store at 8801 S. Congress Ave., the intersection of Slaughter Lane and South Congress Avenue. Service will be provided for the following games:
- 3 p.m., Nov. 16: Sacramento Kings | Depart: Noon. Return: 8 p.m.
- 7 p.m., Jan. 3: Portland Trail Blazers | Depart: 4 p.m. Return: Midnight
- 5 p.m., Feb. 7: Dallas Mavericks | Depart: 2 p.m. Return: 10 p.m.
- 7 p.m., March 21: Indiana Pacers | Depart: 4 p.m. Return: Midnight
- 7 p.m., April 10: Dallas Mavericks | Depart: 4 p.m. Return: Midnight
Fans need both a game and a bus ticket to ride, and they’ll be eligible for special promotions and giveaways throughout the season. If demand calls for it, more games will be added to the program next season.
San Antonio plays two games at Moody Center in Austin, part of the I-35 Series, on Feb. 19 against the Phoenix Suns and Feb. 21 against the Kings.
