AUSTIN (KXAN) — The “dirty soda” trend, popularized by Tiktok and the reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” may just stick around — Austin is about to get its very own shop dedicated to serving the drinks, typically made by combining soda with flavored syrups and creamer.
Last year, Utah-based Swig announced plans to bring its “dirty soda” chain to Central Texas, and now, Austin is getting its own, locally owned dirty soda shop.
Drinki Soda Co., operating out of a trailer on East 11th Street, will have a soft opening on Wednesday, becoming the first shop of its kind in the city.

Lattice Hudson, a local content creator coach, and her partner Tiana Rodriguez, a dance instructor and fitness content creator, are the pair behind the soda trailer.
Drinki Soda Co. is holding a soft opening on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 4-8 p.m. The trailer is located at 1201 E. 11th Street, in a lot behind Paper Boy.
