The drawing happened on Oct. 14 with the winning Quick Pick ticket, which matched all five white ball numbers — 12-22-49-57-58, per a news release from the Texas Lotto.

“The randomly selected built-in Multiplier number was 2, which increased the prize from $1 million to $2 million,” the Texas Lotto said.

This is the first second-tier Mega Millions prize that was won in Texas since April when the game was refreshed, according to the Texas Lotto.

Store in Fredericksburg gets $250K check for selling winning Powerball ticket

In September, a Texas resident bought one of two lotto-winning tickets at Big’s 103, located at 11905 E. U.S. Highway 290 in Fredericksburg. That resident claimed half of the $1.8 billion Powerball Grand Prize, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

A representative with TDLR said the ticket bought in Fredericksburg was the second largest jackpot win in both Powerball and U.S. Lottery history.

Big’s 103 also got a $250,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to TDLR.
