AUSTIN (KXAN) — After the Austin City Limits Music Festival wraps up, a large section of Zilker Park will be closed for roughly two weeks for fall maintenance.
The Austin Parks and Recreation Department posted on social media Thursday that the Great Lawn at Zilker will be closed from Monday, Oct. 20, through Friday, Oct. 31, for annual fall maintenance.

Crews will work on aeration, irrigation, and nutrient application, according to the announcement.
The parks and rec department will complete the work as the weather allows. Updates on potential closure changes will be posted to the city’s website no later than Oct. 27, according to the department.
